To Rent or Not to Rent
That is the Question!

We always try to take a moment explain to "buyers" that renting may be a money saving option for them.  Why spend thousands of dollars when you don't have to?  To save your hard earned money - read on!!

Many families find it very difficult to dedicate more than 1 or 2 weeks towards summer camping each year.  It's just an unfortunate reality of our busy lifestyles today.   Unless you are planning to camp more than 3 full weeks each and every year, then you could rent a tent trailer for 10 YEARS before you would spend the same amount of money on a comparable unit.

As an example, if you bought a 3 - 4 year old used unit in excellent condition, say for $9,000 (including taxes and outfitting costs).  After 10 years your trailer will depreciate to around only $3,000,  giving you a loss of $6,000 or $500 per year.  We rent our trailers for as little as $380 per week!

So as you can see, owning a tent trailer can actually be more expensive than renting a new trailer every year. It can also be an expensive long-term endeavour mixed with some hefty risks.    A "no strings" Rental quickly becomes the smart option for most potential buyers.

"PROS" for Renting a Tent Trailer from  RENT-A-TENT:

P Significantly less "up-front" money required  (Rent as low as $380/wk compared to $10,000)
P Thousands of dollars NOT sitting in the backyard for 50 weeks of the year
P Our trailers come fully equipped with a fridge, furnace, stove, cookware, dishes, & much more!
P Choose different sizes each year for your changing needs
P There's no obligation to lend your trailer to friends or family
(they always ask and it always comes back broken!)
P No purchase taxes, no annual insurance premiums
P No storage concerns or damage fears (vandalism, rodents, canvas mildew)
P No annual maintenance costs  (axle bearing tune- ups, Scotch Guarding)
P No resale headaches or depreciation losses

The # 1 reason people sell their tent trailer is because they realized they weren't using the trailer as often as they had hoped.   With our busy lives today, 1 week of camping is about all a family can put aside in a summer.  So, save your hard earned money and give us a call today!
